Noles Impress Big-Back

Everyone knows about running backs in the state of Florida like Noel Devine, Chris Rainey and Armando Allen. However, a 6-foot-1 and 215 pound from Lynn Haven (Fla.) Mosley is as good as it gets. Last week, he visited Florida State for an unofficial visit.

"I had a lot of fun at Florida State," Enrique Davis said. "I hung out with Lorenzo Booker and Dionte Allen. I got to meet Coach Sexton and Coach Andrews. The coaches were cool and the visit really helped them out."

What is the Garnet & Gold telling him about their running back situation?

"They would really like to sign two backs," he said. "They want a big-back and a small one. I think they want me and Noel Devine. Florida State loses Lorenzo Booker after the season. If I signed with them, the Noles would have two juniors and there would be a possibility that Antone Smith could leave for the NFL."

This past weekend, Davis visited the Auburn Tigers and had had a wonderful time.

"I got to hang out with players like Bailey Woods, Jonathan Dwyer and Michael McNeil," he said. "Kenny Irons showed me around the campus and he will be leaving after this season. Auburn puts a lot of running backs in the NFL. This was my second visit to Auburn."

This summer the North Florida Standout would also like to visit Alabama and Georgia.

Davis will visit his favorite schools again in the fall.

This past season he ran for 1,817 yards and scored 24 touchdowns.
