Unofficial quarterback stats:
Weatherford: 13-19 for 220 yards and 2 TD
Lee: 13-22 for 129 yards and 1 TD, 1 INT

A few observations:

As you can see, Chris Davis had an awesome day. He is the best route runner on the team and seems to be on the same wave-length with both Lee and Weatherford. All of his receptions were very nice and his 22-yard TD score was perhaps the prettiest of all. On the 48-yard reception from Weatherford, the protection had broken down, Weatherford scrambled and Davis streaked down the field.

On the offensive line, Shannon Boatman worked with both the first and second teams. Coach Mark McHale told me that he wanted to get Boatman the added reps against the first team defense. Geoff Berniard and Daron Rose struggled mightily on the left side of the line on the second team. McHale told me they are struggling a bit.

I didn't keep stats of the No. 3 offense vs. No. 3 defense but Dekoda Watson was a force coming off the edge. He registered three sacks on the day. (Timmons also had a sack.) They whistled the play as a sack but on one snap, Nearly all of the FSU linebackers worked in with the first team today.

The following players did not participate in the scrimmage:

Alex Boston
Marcus Ball
Mister Alexander
Myron Rolle
Russell Ball
Joslin Shaw
Aaron Jones
Kendrick Stewart
Jamie Robinson
Charlie Graham
Patrick Robinson
Matt Hardrick

Hardrick has a severely sprained ankle and will be out for awhile. Ball has a sore groin and should be back any day. P. Robinson has a hip pointer and should be back as well. I spoke with Rolle and he said that the shoulder is doing good and that he expects to be back soon.
