When will Marvin Austin visit FSU?

Will the Scout.com No. 1-rated defensive tackle be visiting Tallahassee any time soon?

Florida State may have lost to his hometown Maryland Terrapins last weekend but that doesn't mean that Scout.com No. 1-rated defensive tackle Marvin Austin is any less interested in the Seminoles.

The Ballou High School standout made the short trip from Washington D.C. to College Park, Md. to watch the Tribe take on the Terrapins in Byrd Stadium.

"I like Florida State," Austin told RenegadeReport.com. "They are a little down right now but they still are very good at stopping the run. The defense always plays hard and year after year is always good."

What does Austin think of FSU defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins?

"I talk to Coach Haggins a lot," Austin said. "He's a good coach that has put guys in to the NFL."

If FSU did in fact lose some ground with the 6-foot-3 and 300-pound prospect they are likely to get an opportunity to make that up.

Austin revealed to RenegadeReport.com that FSU will get a visit from him the week before National Signing Day.

"I am going to visit FSU the last weekend in January," Austin said.
