Redshirt senior tailback and redshirt sophomore quarterback weight in on offensive coordinator/receivers coach Jeff Bowden's decision to step down at season's end.

Lorenzo Booker audio:

Drew Weatherford Q&A: wth the media:

On the decision:

"I don't know the reasoning behind doing it right now but obviously he felt lead to do it. We support his decision. I feel like we have a good enough core of leaders that we will be able to stay focused and be able to do what we have to do to win these next two games."

On sending Jeff out on a high note:

"Of course. He's our coach and knowing that these are his last two ballgames of course we want to play as hard as we can for him and for ourselves as well. We are 5-5 right now. We have a lot to prove. We are not playing up to our potential and that's what we plan to do. That's the least we can do for him."

On rallying as a team:

"I don't know of anything good that comes out of losing someone on your coaching staff. Nobody is too excited right now. We are trying to compete for a bowl bid right now and that's our No. 1 focus."

On if it can be a negative:

"That's my biggest concern. It's obviously not going to be a positive. I just hope that it's not too big of a distraction that we don't stay focused for our ballgame."
