But do the Seminoles have a chance with the 6-foot-3 and 230-pounder from Louisiana that says LSU, Florida and USC are his top three?
"I like FSU," Jones told RenegadeReport.com. "I need to schedule a visit down there soon. I have to call Coach (Mark) McHale to do that."
So, what exactly does Jones like about the Garnet and Gold?
"The style of defense that they play is real fast and aggressive," he said. "That's the way that I play so I could fit in. They have real good defensive coaches. I think I could help out."
Jones athletic prowess is not just limited to the football field. The Southern Lab star is also a baseball standout and has the chance to be drafted next year.
"It would be hard to turn down being drafted in the top 15," Jones said. "Baseball is important. I want to go to a school that has a good baseball program also."
What does he think about FSU baseball?
"They always have a good team," he said. "I need to talk to them."
Jones will make his final decision on National Signing Day in February.
