FSU takes down Stetson, 82-63

Seminoles improve to 6-2 on the year and achieve first road victory of the young season against the Hatters.

Two nights after defeating the University of Florida at home, the FSU men's basketball team beat another in-state school, this time eliminating Stetson 82-63 in Deland.

Sophomore guard Toney Douglas paced the Seminoles with 16 points.

Standout forward Al Thornton, who played a near flawless game against the Gators Sunday, struggled a bit against the Hatters. He finished with just 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting.

Uche Echefu's 12 points and Jason Rich's 10 points help pick up the slack.

Next up for the Tribe is a game at Georgia State tomorow night at 7 p.m.
