Florida State will host a talented prep offensive lineman this weekend as Antwane Greenlee will make the trip to Tallahassee with his mother.
"I am excited to get there and enjoy myself," Greenlee told RenegadeReport.com. "I just want to check it all out again and see what's going on. I have been there before but it's still good to see it and talk to the coaches and players again."
Greenlee, who measures in at 6-foot-5 1/2 and 300 pounds is an important prospect for the Seminoles as they continue to improve the offensive line.
Once committed to the Tribe, the Georgia native is actually committed to UGA. But that doesn't mean that FSU is totally out of it.
"I will see when I get there," Greenlee said. "Both programs are really good and both are in dire need of offensive lineman."
One important factor that could help FSU's chances is that new offensive line coach Rick Trickett is on board.
"He's a good coach and UGA has a new coach there, too," Greenlee said. "I haven't spoken with either of them yet but I know that they are very good."
And there's something else that bodes well in the Garnet and Gold's favor: the recent commitment of Greenlee's friend, Chris Little.
"I am glad that he picked FSU," Greenlee said. "It's where he always wanted to go and it's best for him."
But does it help FSU's chance?
"I don't know," he said. "I will have to see. We both have to do what's best for us but it would be cool to play together."
Greenlee ready for this weekend's visit
