Francois gives FSU visit a perfect '10'

Four-star safety enjoyed his trip to Tallahassee. Where do the 'Noles stand?

East St. John standout safety Stefoin Francois isn't very talkative.

But the four-star prospect didn't need to say much to get his point across when describing his trip to Florida State this weekend.

"It was good. I had a lot of fun," Francois told Renegade Report on his way home to Reserve, La. from Tallahassee. "It was a 10, man. I got to hang out with a lot of the guys.

"The quarterback, Xavier Lee, and I hung out a lot."

As one of his childhood favorites, FSU has always been a school that the nation's No. 8-ranked safety has been a fan of. "I like the way they play defense," he said.

The trip to see the campus and the facilities will be something he will never forget.

"Everything is really nice there," Francois said. "They have a good weight room and the stadium is nice. Everything is real cool. It's a big college town, too. (There's) lots to do and a lot of different people."

So where do the 'Noles stand after his visit to Seminole territory?

"I am keeping everyone even," Francois said, just before his phone lost signal. "LSU, Florida State, Tennessee and Arkansas are my favorites. I am going to decide where I am going at the end (around signing day)."

Francois helped lead his team to a 12-1 record and an appearance in the third round of the playoffs as a senior this past season.

The Louisiana Sports Writers' Association voted Francois All-State at the defensive back position at season's end.

He played cornerback in the Army All-American game earlier this month due to depth issues but projects as a college safety.
