Down to two: Jatavious Jackson trims his list

Did FSU make the cut after the three-star offensive lineman's trip to Tallahassee?

Florida State hosted several prospects for the final weekend of the recruiting season and one of those players has trimmed his list of schools to two.

Three-star offensive lineman Jatavious Jackson made the trip from Belle Glade to Tallahassee and after the weekend trip and had a good enough time to keep the Tribe near the top.

"I am down to two, Clemson and FSU," Jackson told Renegade Report Sunday afternoon. "I will pick one of them on signing day."

So, what exactly did the 6-foot-4 and 280-pound offensive lineman like about his visit to Seminole territory?

"Everything, everything," Jackson said. "I had fun. Jacky Claude was my host and he showed me around. I like it there."

While Jackson had a good time, his fellow high school teammate, five-star wide receiver Deonte Thompson, who took an unofficial visit to Tallahassee, did as well.

"I know he had a good time," Jackson said.

Could he see the two playing together playing at the next level?

"Definitely. That would be something," Jackson said.

Jackson is ranked as the No. 44 offensive guard in the country.
