Lakeland wide receiver wants an FSU offer

If you are looking for college prospects in the state of Florida, one of your first stops would have to be Lakeland, Florida. The city of Lakeland turns out blue chippers on an annual basis. One of Lakeland's top offerings for the 2008 class is Kathleen wide receiver T.J. Lawrence.

"So far I have offers from Virginia Tech, Boise State, Ole Miss, UConn and Arizona State," said Lawrence. "Clemson says they are going to offer."

T.J. has proven to be a very valuable asset to the Kathleen offense.

"I enjoy making plays for my team," said T.J. "I like the ball in my hands. I am looking to add some speed and strength this spring, so I can be even better this year."

The Florida Gators pulled in a lion's share from the Lakeland area in the 2007 class. It looks like the Gators are in good shape with T.J. too, but the Seminoles are also in the mix.

"I am wide open, but I would like to get offers from Florida and Florida State," explained T.J. "I like both programs and they are in Florida. I don't have to stay in Florida, but I want to be close enough that my family can see me play."
