'Noles headed to Sweet 16 for first time

FSU women's basketball team upsets Stanford on their home court Monday.

The Florida State women's basketball team kept their season alive Monday night with a 68-61 over Stanford on the Cardinal home court.

Senior Alicia Gladden posted 12 points - seven of which came on an 11-0 run to close the game - and Shante Williams and Mara Freshour each added 16 and 15, respectively.

The victory propels the 10th-seeded Seminoles into their first Sweet 16 appearance in program history.
