At 6-foot-4 and 230 pound, linebacker Jon Major is a force on the defensive side of the ball.
Florida State coaches recognized that and officially offered the Colorado native a scholarship. Major now has offers from FSU, Oregon, Purdue, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Louisville, Arizona State, Tennessee, LSU, Arizona, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Oklahoma State, Utah, Washington, Illinois, Northwestern, Stanford, Washington State, Colorado State, Colorado, Oklahoma, Michigan, Tulsa, Texas Tech, UCLA and Wisconsin.
As a junior, Major posted 107 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one interception. He missed four games with an ankle sprain.
