Prospect Q&A: Deion Walker talks Seminoles

Big Virginia WR shares the latest on his offer from FSU, his relationship with fellow Va. prospect E.J. Manuel and more. For those people who aren't familiar with you, what skills make you stand out as a reciever?

Deion Walker: I am a tall reciever, I am taller than a lot of people. I can make the cuts that the smaller guys can make. I am 6'3 1/2", 185 lbs and I have a 37" vertical. I have been timed at 4.43 in the forty.

ND: What class are you in in Virgina?

DW: My school is Division 2 Private school league.

ND: How many offers are you at right now?

DW: Right now I have 35 offers from schools like USC, Penn St., Texas A&M, a lot of the SEC schools, Michigan just to name a few.

ND: Do you have an official offer from FSU?

DW: Yes, I just got it in the mail a few days ago?

ND: Do you have any interest in FSU at this time?

DW: Yeah, I definitely have interest. I grew up watching them. They were my childhood favorite. Growing up FSU and Miami were always the team to beat. Just the speed and the athletes they put on the field makes them tough to beat.

ND: Do you have a top 5 right now?

DW: No, I am just laying low right now. I am just planning, getting some visits ready. I am going to take all 5 visits. I am planning on choosing sometine early in my season so I can get that out of the way.

ND: Any tests planned?

DW: I am scheduled to take the test June 2. Right now I have a 3.22 GPA. I am waiting to see what I have now, but I have mostly all A's and B's at this time.

ND: Do you speak to any other recruits:

DW: I talk to one kid who just got an offer, E.J. Manuel. Man, we are real close. We talk about FSU and visiting them; he tells me I should go down and visit. I want to get down there and check them out.
