Florida State in Aldarius Johnson's top 5

One of the top receivers in the state, Johnson trims down his list and the Seminoles make the cut.

Miami Northwestern High wide receiver Aldarius Johnson says that Florida State has made the cut after revealing his top five potential colleges.

The four-star standout is one of the top receiver prospects in the state of Florida. As a junior, he caught 72 passes for 1,361 yards and 19 touchdowns. In the Class 6A state title game, the 6-foot-2 1/2 and 190-pounder posted 149 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

His impressive statistics earned him First Team All-State Wide Receiver 6A and All-Dade County First Team honors.

"Right now my top five teams are Florida, Miami, Florida State, LSU and USC," Johnson told TigerRag.com's Grant Alexander. "I like those schools because they play big receivers and pass the ball a lot."

In addition to putting the Seminoles in his top five, TigerRag reported that Johnson will camp at FSU, Miami, LSU and Florida this summer.
