Q&A with former 'Nole

Dominic Robinson signed with Florida State out of California. The former U.S. Army All-American signed a Free Agent deal with St. Louis when his playing days with the Seminoles were over. NoleDiget.com's McKinley Rolle catches up with Robinson for a quick Q&A.

Q: What are your impressions of the new coaches at Florida State?

DR-You always wonder what it would have been like to play under someone else. To even be under four years of Coach Stroud; you always wonder what that would have been like. I wouldn't say that I would never trade my experience for anything but you definitely wonder.

It's more excitement for what's going to happen than anything. I'm not a "hater". I'm not the type of guy that if I see a guy doing good to be like that should have been me.....that could have been me. I could care less what I have, and I'm happy for what I have. I met Jimbo and Coach Amato their first week here. I think it's great.

Q: What are your thoughts on the recruiting process and how Florida State is doing right now on the recruiting trails?

DR-I don't really follow recruiting to much. I've had my overdose. I had to go through it from all the way from my sophomore year in High School. Then going through it when you're here. You can't help but to be in it. Every year you're getting that new guy,  getting that new you.

Q: What are your plans for playing in the NFL right now?

DR-I'm actually heading to workout for Denver in a couple weeks. We'll see how that goes. We got a lot of teams really interested. We're were having a bunch of problems getting my film out. About 10 teams called wanting my film. I sent it to NFL Europe. Then the other copy broke. We didn't have another copy. So this will be the master, and I'll make a bunch of copies and get it out to the teams that are interested in me. Denver looks like a great opportunity. They've been interested for a very long time. Minnesota has been interested for a very long time too.
