Bobby Bowden Camp Standouts

NoleDigest Publisher McKinley Rolle gives a quick look at the Bobby Bowden Camp and some of the players known and unknown making a splash this week.

Javien Stewart, WR, Lakeland
He is cousins with current FSU DT Kendrick Stewart. He didn't drop a ball all day. He had all of the coaches talking, especially Coach Fisher.

Dallas Thomas, OL, Baton Rouge, LA
He moved very well throughout the camp and had a lot of attention from Coach Trickett. After a good performance at Tennessee and now FSU, look for the interest in Thomas to rise.

Kevin Green, CB, Tallahassee (Rickards).
He was seen speaking frequently to the coaches and did well in coverage. He currently has offers from Arkansas and Purdue. At 6'1" and 180, he already has impressive size with developing coverage skills.

A 2009 kid that really had Coach Mickey Andrews attention was Ronnie Pryor, from Lake Okeechobee. He looked very good in coverage today. A very impressive prospect.

Another 2009 kid that has been impressive during the camp that is familiar to many is JuJan Harley from Rickards. He was nonstop at the camp and put on a good show.

FSU is looking at him as a safety. He ran a reported sub 4.4 40 yard dash on Wednesday. He has a great frame and has very good footwork. He runs to every drill instead of walking. Coach Mickey Andrews introduced him to Myron Rolle on Wednesday.

Jared Haggins from Lakeland High School will only be a sophomore this year. In case you didn't recognize his last name.......Haggins....he's Coach Odell Haggins' nephew. He has very good size, speed, and hands. He plays QB for his High School team but will be a Divison 1 WR on the next level.
