NoleDigest caught up with Moses McCray, a Florida State Commitment, after his great performance at the Seminole Showtime. McCray dominated his competition all evening long. Here's what Moses had to say about his experience at FSU.
How was Seminole Showtime?
MM: Man, it was great. Everything they did was nice. Not only did they break things down as a player, but they broke down the academics for us to show how we can be outstanding college players. It was just outstanding with all of the players telling us about their experiences.
Which star did you work with the most?
MM: I worked mostly with Corey Simon. He is a great person and really down to earth. He really knows his stuff. He is sort of like a mentor in the fact that he has been there and done it. He really wants to help the young kids out.
Would you say it solidified your commitment?
MM: Yes, sir. I would say that.
Did you go to Friday Night Lights?
MM: No, I didn't get a chance to go. I really just wanted to check out the talent to see what was going on.
Many feel that your camp performance was outstanding and that it is going to move you up the rankings. How do you feel about that?
MM: I am not trying to say I am better than the others. I will let the media types do that. I do feel I am a little underrated, but that is okay.
Are you still recruiting kids for FSU?
MM: Yeah, but I don't really want to talk about who I am talking to.
What are your plans for the rest of the summer?
MM: I am just preparing for two-a-days. School starts late August. I am just trying to work hard and get bigger. Right now I am 6'3" 280 pounds.
Last time we spoke, you said you might take visits. Is that still the case?
MM: Not really sure about that now. As it stands I am taking only one official to FSU, but I don't know when that will be yet. I am 100% committed to
