Weather Outlook: FSU vs Florida

WCTV Chief Meteorologist Mike "WeatherNole" McCall offers TheTerritory readers his take on the weather conditions for Saturday's game against the Florida Gators at Doak Campbell Stadium. Look for McCall's gameday forecast each and every week a day or so prior to the game.

Florida State vs. Florida
Saturday, November 30th
8:00pm, ABC

Get ready to bundle up for the big finale Saturday night as the Seminoles take on the Gators at Doak Campbell Stadium at 8pm. Saturday will be yet another beautiful fall day in Tallahassee. We'll start out Saturday morning a bit frosty, with a low temperature in the mid 30s. However, a nice warmup is in store for the afternoon, with a high expected in the upper 60s. An approaching cold front will likely mean some clouds, but NO rain is in the forecast. (This is good news. I seem to have some bad memories about games versus UF in the rain.)

Temperatures at kickoff will be in the mid 50s, and will slowly fall throughout the game, ending up in the low to mid 40s by the final whistle. That cold front will pass through the area about the same time as kickoff. Other than maybe causing the winds to pick up just a bit (from the W, then NW at 10 to 15 mph), most of us won't even notice the front moving by.

If you're sticking around Tally on Sunday, it will be rather brisk, with a low in the low 30s and a high only in the mid 50s, BUT with plenty of sunshine.

The game? Tough call. I know I'm a homer and always pick FSU, but I really feel the team is going to come together in light of all the turmoil throughout the past week.

Final score: FSU 28, UF 24
