Big Bad Hannah

Jon Hannah is still awaiting his final grade in a summer class to see if he is a go for the upcoming school year. Find out if the big man at tight end will be seeing the field anytime soon at Florida State.

The redshirt sophomore from Hope Mills, North Carolina towers over his new friends and teammates. At 6'5 and weighing 265 pounds Jon Hannah is already one of the biggest guys on the team. Before Hannah can make his mark on the field, he has some catching up to do in the classroom. Hannah only needs one class to be cleared to play. On Friday Hannah is expecting big news "I'm doing pretty well. I finish Friday and I'm looking forward to the good news." says Hannah. Although Hannah still has work in the class room that hasn't stopped him from watching practice and cheering on his teammates.

After watching practice Hannah explains "I'm looking forward to play with these talented with guys around me. I'm looking forward to our schedule its great. We don't play and cake teams. I'm looking forward to competing." Hannah is also looking forward to the opener against Clemson. Many writers have Hannah penciled in at the starting tight end spot by Labor Day. Many Seminole fans have been wondering is there anyone who can step up to fill the void by transfer Brandon Warren. "I hoping to keep up that tradition that was started last year with a playmaker tight end and I hope other recruits who have the same game come to Florida State for the same reason" explains Hannah.

With a tight end that size many fans and critics would think he would not be agile and athletic enough to become a play maker. However, the big man disagrees with this: "My biggest strength is my ability to get open, catch the football, and run routes. I take pride in that but; I'm looking forward to improving my overall game as well. One thing I would like to improve on is my blocking." With a new and exciting offense implemented what can Florida State fans expect out of Hannah? "I don't want to go all out right now but, expect me to be consistent. Also when you need a big play I can be counted on to make something happen. You should probably give me the ball a little bit I might make something happen."

Stay locked to on Friday when we find out if the big man makes the grade.
