Tuesday's Practice Report

"We had a good practice today," said head coach Bobby Bowden. "We've done everything we can do. Now it's just a matter of going out and executing. We must come out and play the best game we can play Thursday night."

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 11 Florida State Seminoles (4-1, 3-0 ACC) held their final practice Tuesday afternoon as they completed preparations for Thursday night's game against the Clemson Tigers (3-1, 1-0 ACC). The team worked out in shorts for an hour-and-half and put the finishing touches on the game plan against Clemson scout teams. The players will meet with their position coaches Wednesday afternoon.

Several players will return to the lineup against Clemson after missing time with injuries. Sophomore Ray Willis will start at tight tackle after missing three games with ankle and shoulder injuries, allowing Brett Williams to move back to split tackle. Torrance Washington will start at fullback with B.J. Dean listed as probable after missing two games with a knee injury. Rover Claudius Osei (Achilles') has also been upgraded to probable.

Florida State's game against Clemson is set for a 7:45 p.m. kickoff and will be carried live on ESPN.
