SEMINOLES FIRST IN NATION, SWANN FIFTH IN FREE THROW PERCENTAGE
Florida State is ranked FIRST IN THE NATION AND FIRST IN THE ACC in free throws made (173), free throws attempted (214) and free throw percentage (.808) according to the first NCAA statistical report of the season. The report takes into account all of the games played through Dec. 2. Senior guard Isaiah Swann is ranked FIFTH IN THE NATION AND FIRST IN THE ACC WITH a .967 success rate (29 of 30) from the free throw line. The Seminoles finished first in the ACC and ninth in the nation last season with a school record .758 shooting percentage from the free throw line. The Seminoles' performance from the free throw line against Cleveland State (29 of 31, .935) is the fifth best and their performance against Georgia Southern (32 of 35, .914) is the seventh best performance in Division I during the first month of the 2007-08 season. The Seminoles are joined by only Wright State a (.805) as the two Division I teams that are shooting 80 percent or better from the free throw line.
