Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
Why he should leave- Geno Hayes is one of the most athletic linebackers in college football. He made the 1st team All- ACC. Hayes could benefit that this year's OLB Draft Class isn't the strongest.
Why he should stay- Hayes needs to continue to work on his overall game including his coverage skills. Hayes could also continue to get physically bigger to make the transition to the Pro game much easier.
NoleDigest Projection- 1st day pick
Why he should leave- Antone Smith played one of his best games of his career as a Seminole against Kentucky. Smith has very good speed & excellent upper body strength. He will have very good combine numbers & will not grow in a season.
Why he should stay- Smith did not play the entire season healthy. There are questions that still remain about his durability. There are many good backs in this year's Draft. Smith needs to show that he can make players miss and get yards after contact.
NoleDigest Projection- 2nd day pick
Why he should go- Greg Carr has been catching TD's since he arrived at FSU. He's left his mark at FSU with landing in the top ten in all time receiving TD's. His size will be coveted at the next level.
Why he should stay- Carr still has room for much improvement. He can still improve on attacking the ball while it's in the air and learn to position himself better when going for the ball. He's had a full year in Coach Fisher's offense and could be better next season.
NoleDigest Projection- Late 1st day – early 2nd day pick
Why he should go- Letroy Guion showed flashes that he can be very dominant on the college level. He has a very quick first step. He also has to sit out the first three games of next football season.
Why he should stay- Guion has struggled to stay healthy since being at FSU. He's shown flashes of dominance but has not put it together for a long stretch of time. Has room for improvement and could get stronger as well.
NoleDigest Projection- Late 2nd day pick – Free agent
Why he should go- Carter has been making big plays for the last couple of seasons including this year's Music City Bowl against Kentucky. Carter has improved since his first year at FSU. Carter also has great speed and quickness.
Why he should stay- Carter needs to show that he can stay healthy. He had a decent year but can still improve and become a lockdown corner. He could benefit from a potentially better front seven next year.
NoleDigest Projection- Early 2nd day pick
