The countdown begins for Moody

Nick Moody was one of the top players in the state of Pennsylvania last season. Florida State was able to secure his commitment early in the spring. Moody will be counted on to provide depth to the rover position according to Coach Andrews. NoleDigest recently had the opportunity to catch up with Nick.

What's your weight now?

NM-I'm at 219.

When do you arrive at FSU are you excited?

NM- I arrive at Florida State on June 20th and I'm really excited.

Have you had a chance to speak with Coach Andrews? What does he expect of you as far as next year?

NM- Yes. He said I better be ready to play and I have to learn the defense really fast.

What are your goals for next season?

NM- My goals are to contribute as much as I can.

Who is your roommate going to be and what number are you going to wear?

NM- Moses McCray is going to be my roommate. I don't know what number I will wear, maybe #12.

What has been your training schedule?

NM- I work out five or six days a week. I focus on speed and agility not so much on lifting heavy.

Describe yourself as a player. What is your strength and weakness?

NM- I need to work on my man coverage. My strength would be my size and speed combo.

Do you look forward to working with Myron Rolle?

NM- Yes. I look forward to it. I will be able to learn a lot from him which should make the transition easier.

What will be your feelings when you are running out of Doak Campbell with the Garnet and Gold on in the first game?

NM- I'm probably going to be nervous and excited at the same time.

Bonus on Nick- Moody would like to major in Finance. Despite Nick residing in Pennsylvania he never wanted to attend Penn State.
