FSU Recruit Roundup

Florida State recruits continue to impress this year. In this week's round-up we look at the several recruits from Byrnes, all of the top players in the Tallahassee area, and among many more Lonnie Pryor's continued impressive play.

- Justin Bright continues his break-out season as he had 2 sacks, 2 TFL's, 1 pass break-up and "several tackles" in Byrnes' 39-3 win over Spartanburg.

- Marcus Lattimore had 176 yards and 3 TDs last night in Byrnes' win.

- In front of Coach Coley, Lonnie Pryor had 26 carries for 256 yards and 2 scores in Okeechobee's win over Ft. Pierce Central.

- Rodney Smith didn't do a lot in the passing game as he only had 2 catches for 39 yards in Archbishop Carroll's 40-17 win over LaSalle. He did take and 80 yard INT back for a score.

- Another win, another blowout for Florida High. No stats were available for Brandon Jenkins in the 56-7 win over Bozeman.

- No stats were available for Ed Stinson in S. Dade's 15-14 loss over Palmetto.

- 2010 standout Lamarcus Joyner was everywhere in Miami-Southwest's 46-14 win over Ferguson. He had a 85 yard kick return for a score, 40 yards rushing for another TD, and had a few catches on the night.

- Trent Richardson went for 119 yards on 22 carries and a TD in Escambia's 31-13 loss to Niceville.

- Chuck Amato watched C.J. Mizell and Leon beat Mosley 31-28. No stats were available for Mizell.

- Jacobbi McDaniel didn't play this week in Madison's win over Taylor County. Chris Thompson had over 300 all-purpose yards in the 69-7 win.

- Orson Charles had a 30 yard TD in Plant's 42-0 win over Tampa-Blake.

- There were no stats available for Demonte McAllister in Alonso's 36-17 win over King.

- Xavier Rhodes didn't do much in Norland's 24-15 loss to N. Miami Beach.

- Branden Smith had 2 TDs in Atlanta-Washington's 35-14 win over N. Atlanta.

- Gerald Demps had the winning score on a 1 yard TD in Lowndes 14-7 win over Valdosta.

- Teammates Kendall Kelly and Dre Kirkpatrick had long returns for Gadsen City in their 42-41 double OT win over Pell City.

- No stats were available for Jon Bostic in Palm Beach Central's 27-7 loss to Park Vista.

- No stats were available for 2010 commitment Darius Cummings in Astronaut's 49-0 win over Viera.

- Glades Central made a furious comeback in as they scored 14 points in the 4th quarter to beat Cardinal Gibbons 35-30. 2010 target Fred Pickett had the winning score with a 2 yard TD with 28 seconds left.

- Eduardo Clements, Eugene Smith and Olivier Vernon all play today.
