Gano won the Lou Groza Award given to the Nation's Top Place Kicker. The senior from Pensacola, Fla., leads the nation in field goals and is the highest scoring kicker in all of the FBS. No kicker in America converted more attempts from 50 yards than Gano and he converted 24-of-26 field goal attempts overall. His only two misses came from 52 and 50 yards. Gano has as many 50-yard field goals in his career as FSU's two-time Lou Groza Award winner Sebastian Janikowski and he is the only kicker in school history to convert over 90% of his field goals in a season.
Brown was a First team All ACC selection. He was also runner up for ACC Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year. Brown is currently third in the nation in sacks at 1.04 per game and his is fourth in the nation in tackles for loss at 1.71 per game. He is fifth in single season sacks in school history with 12.5 and his now second all-time at FSU with 45.5 career tackles for loss. In the history of the program only five players have more sacks in their career than Brown's 22.
Rolle (6-2, 215, Junior, Galloway, NJ) is a recipient of a Rhodes Scholarship. For the season, Rolle is second on the Seminoles in tackles with 57. He also has five passes defended and five passes broken up. Rolle was a finalist for the Lott Trophy, a Semifinalist for the Bednarik, and made 2nd Team All-ACC. Rolle has led the Seminoles in tackles twice this season and had one of the finest games by a safety in the Bobby Bowden era versus Miami. Versus the Hurricanes, Rolle broke up four passes, had three third down stops, a touchdown saving tackle, a QB hurry, a tackle for loss and a ½ sack.
