Florida State wide receiver Rod Owens was arrested around 4:30 am Sunday morning on charges of driving under the influence according to the Tallahassee Police Department.
According to reports, Owens was pulled over after an officer saw him driving without his headlights on. Once stopped, Owens was taken to jail on suspicion of DUI, and submitted a blood alcohol content test. Owens was twice over the legal limit in Florida which is .08.
Owens was released from jail this afternoon around 1:15 pm after posting $500 bond. Owens will have a court date scheduled at a later time.
