Over the next few weeks NoleDigest will be looking at the Post-Spring Recruiting board for Florida State. After scouring the country checking out recruits, the coaches at FSU have seen their board change as interest has grown in some, while others have either committed or slipped down the list. In this installment we look at the wide receivers on FSU's board.

Wide Receivers

This is a deep position this year, and Florida State is looking to sign 4 recruits in this class.

1) Christian Green: Christian is arguably one of the top players in the state this year, and he is rated as Scout.com's 5th best wide out. Since the 7-on-7 in Tampa earlier this spring Green has been recognized as a premier recruit as a wide receiver even though he's played quarterback for the majority of his high school career. Recently Green said FSU, Florid and Georgia are sticking out to him, but this is turning into a two team race between FSU and UF. Green has made a ton of visits to Florida, a fact that has many FSU fans concerned. With a possible summer announcement FSU must roll out the red carpet when he visits in July.

2) Chris Dunkley: Dunkley is moving up this list quickly as the coaches at FSU love his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. Dunkley sat out most of the spring, but he had little to prove as he's long been considered to be an explosive playmaker. Florida has been the leader here, but every day that passes makes his recruitment even more interesting. There's talk as of yesterday that Dunkley may be pulling the pin for Florida soon. Chris is a primary target for FSU's offensive coaches this cycle.

3) DeJoshua Johnson: Alabama, Miami and others are all chasing FSU, and it is a chase they aren't going to win. Talk is that Johnson dominated Alabama's camp a few weeks ago. Johnson has been in the ear of Dunkley and there are rumors that he has been recruiting for FSU for some time. It is only a matter of time for Johnson to make it official.

4) Kenny Shaw: With Ricardo Miller gone Shaw showed this spring he can carry the load for Dr. Phillips. His recruitment picked up a lot of steam as a ton of school offered him after seeing him in action. Where Dunkley and Johnson are more explosive, make you miss guys, Shaw is a smooth wide out who runs good routes and at the same time can take it to the house. FSU leads and they've been recruiting Kenny hard, but look for him to give schools like Florida and Georgia a look.

5) LOGJAM: I put logjam here because the first 4 have separated themselves from the rest of the group in terms of how hard FSU is recruiting them. There's a large group of talented players here that FSU is recruiting, and it is reasonable to say they could potentially be apart of this class: Quinton Dunbar (FSU is grouped with a bunch of others for Dunbar), Michaelee Harris (Harris' recruitment is pretty open at this time), Trovon Reed (FSU is more interested in him then he is them), B.J. Chitty ( he is camping at FSU in July), and Jazz King (the Byrnes product will be watched this year).

Others: Allen Hurns (the Carol City standout is an interesting prospect that FSU wants to see more of at camp), and Fred Pickett (Plan B), Tony Creecy (probably stays in-state).
