As Florida State hosts their annual Seminole Showtime camp, one camper decided that he would be participating as a future Seminole. Corey Miller of Byrnes High School is a four-star defensive end prospect that will look to come to FSU and contribute immediately.
According to Miller's father, the decision came as bit of a surprise, but he is very happy for his son.
"We were in the meeting with the defensive ends and after he told me he needed to talk to me," Miller said. "He said FSU is where he wants to be.
I was as surprised as anyone but I am happy it's one of the schools we talked about. I really like it here and was impressed the first time I came."
Miller said his son is ready and excited about Florida State.
"I feel good about my son coming here," Miller said. "He is 100 percent and ready to get to work in January."
The thought of his son coming to FSU was an emotional, but very happy one for Miller.
"I couldn't be happier," Miller expressed. "I got tears because I knew since little league this was going to happen."
