Showtime brings the best out of Florida State, and usually it results in commitments from players that attend the event. Corey Miller from Byrnes was first to pull the trigger, and before the event started Brooks made the decision to commit to the ‘Noles.
"I committed today because I felt this was the best place for me to be," said Brooks. "All the other schools didn't treat me the way that FSU has, and this was the 3rd time I have been here. As a defensive back there isn't a better place for me to be."
Florida State coach Dexter Carter has been working Brooks hard. Terrence said he committed to him as the work paid off.
"Coach Carter has been the one recruiting me so my coach and I went up to him we were going to commit," said the newest FSU commitment. "FSU's atmosphere is great and they are getting it back to where they were. They are upping their program and I am so glad to join this group."
Overall it was a great day for Brooks as he said the camp itself was a good experience.
"I loved being a part of this today as it was great working with the former players and just being at this camp," said an exhausted Brooks.
Brooks may take visits down the line but in the end FSU has gained a speedy, athletic player who can get it done at several positions on the field.
