Sanders Ready for FSU Visit

Florida State has been turning up their recruitment of Vincent Sanders over the past few weeks. This weekend he plans on making an unofficial this weekend so he can get an up-close look at the Seminole program.

Vincent Sanders is one of the best wide receivers in the South for 2010. The Noxubee County High standout missed the first part of his senior year with a broken jaw, but in 7 games Sanders has been on a terror as he had 15 touchdowns on offense and an interception on defense.

With offers from Florida State, Ole Miss and Mississippi State, and interest from schools like North Carolina, West Virginia and Wisconsin, Sanders' recruitment has been picking up. He says he has no favorites at this time and that he is wide open to the process.

"Everything is still the same," said the 4-star wide out. "I like all of the schools recruiting me and everyone is still number one at this point. I haven't taken any officials or anything yet, but I will do that after the year."

This weekend Sanders will be in Tallahassee visiting FSU for the Maryland game. He told NoleDigest that he is eager to get down there to see the program in person.

"I'm taking an unofficial visit to FSU this weekend," said Sanders. "I'm eager to get down there because I like their program, the state itself, and growing up FSU has always been my dream school. When I am there Saturday I want to get a chance to sit down and study their offense."

Sanders says he has been in touch with Coach Coley at FSU but his primary recruiter is Coach Trickett.

"I haven't talked to Coach Fisher yet, but he is going to be the next head coach," said Sanders. "I've been talking to Coach Trickett and Coach Coley about coming in as a receiver."

Vincent plans on taking an official visit to Florida State after the season. Stay tuned to NoleDigest for further updates with Sanders, as well as the rest of the recruits from the 2010 recruiting class.
