Dent, Green in championship form

Last week on SunSports and FoxSports Florida, four of the eight Florida State Championship Games were played. Fox College Sports carried the games nationally as well. Florida State commit Greg Dent and Seminole recruit Christian Green both played for the state championship in their respective divisions this past weekend and both put up plenty of highlights.

Greg Dent of Glades Central grew up a die-hard Seminole fan but never received an offer from Florida State. Dent then committed to the University of Miami but received an offer from the Seminoles that same day. After taking some time to get over any ill feelings towards the Seminoles, Dent pledged to the Florida State coaching staff.

Since then, Dent has completed his senior season which ended with a trip to the state championship game. Dent had an outstanding game and provided plenty of highlights captured by Sun Sports and Fox Sports Florida which has allowed Scout to publish on their network.

Another top target for the Seminoles is ATH Christian Green from Tampa Catholic. Green is being recruited to play wide receiver at Florida State but spent his senior season playing mostly quarterback. Green, cousin of former Seminole E.G. Green is still undecided as to where he plans on playing his college ball, but most believe it will come down to the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida State Seminoles. Green is not necessarily waiting until National Signing Day to make his decision, but he is waiting until he feels completely comfortable at either school.
