BIG signing day surprise for FSU

After looking like Florida State would have a class without any offensive linemen, a 6'6" 315 standout from Paramus, NJ pledged his allegiance to the Seminoles.

Early Wednesday morning, Florida State received some great news. Three-star offensive lineman from Paramus, NJ, Danny Foose sent in his early this morning just as expected. What wasn't expected is who he sent it into.

Foose committed to Ron Zook and the University of Illinois about a week ago and it looked like Florida State's late push for Foose was too little, too late.

That wasn't the case. Foose switched his commitment early Wednesday morning and faxed his LOI to Tallahasse, not Champaign, IL.

"Florida State was the best fit for me," Foose said. "They'll bring out my full potential . I have so much faith in the coaches there."

Foose is the first and likely the only offensive lineman in this year's class for Florida State.
