Seminoles Stay Alive

Florida State defended their home court as they defeated lowly Boston College Sunday night to improve to 18-7 (6-5 Atlantic Coast Conference). The win should keep the Seminoles on the right side of the bubble as they prepare for a two game road trip to Virginia and North Carolina.

Michael Snaer tied a career-high by scoring 18 points to lead the Seminoles past Boston College as Florida State improved to one game above .500 in ACC play.

After a shaky first half, the Seminoles turned it on in the final 20 minutes and outscored the Eagles by 15 points, their eventual margin of victory. Boston College would only score 17 points in the second half

Chris Singleton added 12 points, eight rebounds and five steals for the Tribe and Solomon Alabi tallied eight points and seven blocks giving Florida State an all-around team effort.

The 62-47 victory is the largest in conference this season for the Seminoles. The tribe will have a few days off before heading north to take on Virginia Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
