Seminoles crush Cavs

With 10:11 left in the first half, Florida State took an 11-9 lead over Virginia and would never relinquish it. The Seminoles have now won three of their last four conference games and are sitting strong in regards to securing a second straight NCAA Tournament bid.

Chris Singleton scored 12 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had three steals to lead the Seminoles to their second straight ACC win of 15 or more points as the Tribe took a 69-50 win from Virginia.

Florida State's defense came up big for the second straight game as Virginia was only able to score 24 and 26 points in the first and second half respectively. Sylven Landesberg was held to a season low of just four points as the Cavilers shot just 37% from the field.

The win improves Florida State's record to 19-7 (7-5 ACC). The Seminoles will now take a week off before heading to Chapel Hill next Wednesday to take on the struggling Tar Heels. The game will tip at 7:00 p.m. and air live on ESPN.
