Hunter is Commitment #10 for the 'Noles

Tyler Hunter is the 10th commitment for Florida State's class of 2011.

Lowndes High in Valdosta, GA has been good to Florida State over the past few seasons. In 2009 Greg Reid and Gerald Demps came to FSU, and last year FSU was able to add talented linebacker Telvin Smith to the 2010 class.

One of the top targets for the Seminoles in 2011 is defensive back Tyler Hunter. The physical and talented defender plays all over the backfield for Lowndes, showing the versatility colleges from all over the nation like.

Early on Hunter said he wanted to take in the process and makes some visits before committing, but he decided earlier this month that he wanted to become a Seminole.

"I committed earlier this month to Coach Fisher," said Hunter. "I loved the visits I have taken, and it just feels like home to me."

Scout lists Tyler as a cornerback, but at 6' and 200 pounds look for the Lowndes standout to play safety when he arrives at FSU.

"I don't know which one yet but they want me as a safety," explained Hunter.

Tyler will still make some visits but don't expect him to sign anywhere else.

Hunter is the latest commitment at defensive back for the Seminoles, joining what is looking like a talented, deep class for the Seminoles in 2011.
