True freshman Michael Snaer missed three free throws and Florida State committed a few key turnovers down the stretch which cost Florida State in the end.
Solomon Alabi scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds but it wasn't enough to lead a Seminole comeback that came up just short. Devidias Dulkys added 14 points of his own in a losing effort.
Leading the way for Gonzaga was guard Matt Bouldin who scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Ellias Harris, Robert Sacre and Steven Gray all scored in double digits for the Zags as well.
Florida State finishes the season with a record of 22-10 but failed to win a game following their regular season win at Miami on March 6.
One and done, again.
