FSU Latest School to Offer Kerbyson

Knoxville Catholic lineman Kyler Kerbyson is approaching 20 offers as the spring evaluation period approaches. One of the programs to recently offer the tackle was Florida State. NoleDigest caught up with Kyler to talk about his recruitment and the offer from the Seminoles.

Kyler Kerbyson has seen his recruitment pick up over the past month as now he claims 16 offers from programs all over the nation.

"I've been very surprised with all of these offers and I really didn't expect most of them," said the 3-star lineman. "Tennessee, Alabama, USC, UCLA, Stanford, Duke, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Illinois and Maryland are some of the schools that have offered. I just got an offer from Florida State, but other than that nothing really new has come in the past few weeks."

Florida State just offered the Knoxville standout. He told NoleDigest that he was offered by offensive line coach Rick Trickett.

"I am very excited about the FSU offer," Kerbyson said, "just like I am with every offer. Coach Trickett was talking to me about the offer. He told me he likes my aggressiveness."

Kyler has been out and about the past couple months visit schools for Junior Days and other events. At this stage he is pretty open with his recruitment.

"I have gone to Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Clemson for Junior Days," explained Kerbyson. "I haven't trimmed my list any and I don't really have any top teams. This summer I want to go to some camps but I haven't decided which ones yet."

The 6'5" 290 pound lineman says that his hard work and desire to be the best at his position stand out.
