Dear Christian:

It is fitting that you are the first player to be profiled, particularly on the day that FSU is launching your Heisman campaign. You have come a long way in your time at FSU and have shown improvement each year as a Nole. We think the best is yet to come which is scary for other teams considering the type of season you were having last year before the injury.

There is more good news as the defense should be much improved this season which should significantly lessen the pressure you felt last year to have to score every time we had the ball. Equally important is that you have quality talent around you on offense for the first time in your career and that talent has experience.

You have a deep WR core, a host of talented RBs, and one of the top OLs in the country. Our message to you is simple: You don't need to do it all on your own this year. What we do need from you is a consistent season and for you to continue to show the leadership qualities that you possess.

Having said that, there will come a time in the season where we need you to be spectacular. Perhaps it is a 80 yard drive late in the 4th quarter to beat Miami, Clemson, or Florida. Maybe it will be a key third down conversion that you pick up with your outstanding athleticism.

Whatever it is you are the most important player on this team this season. This is the season that you have been working for all your life. Carpe Diem. "Seize the day". It is your time, you are clearly one of the best QBs in the country, you know the system inside and out, it is time to cement your status as one of the best signal callers in FSUs illustrious history.

Your continued tutelage of E.J. Manuel(and Clint Trickett and Will Secord) is another area in which you can leave a lasting legacy, we know how much you helped Manuel last year when you were injured. In a perfect world you pass the torch to E.J. and then he passes it to the next guy and so on.

You have not been dealt the best hand in your FSU career, however this is a new season, with a new sheriff in charge, with a team sporting a new attitude, you are the straw that stirs the drink. Go out there and have fun playing the game you love, we are confident the results are going to follow.

2010 Prediction: 236-350, 3,135 yards, 21/7
