Coker Makes Return Visit to FSU

Seminole commitment Jacob Coker was in Tallahassee Thursday, visiting the school he committed to last month. NoleDigest spoke to him after his visit to get the latest.

Jacob Coker committed to Florida State after earning an offer during the first Jimbo Fisher camp last month. Thursday Coker was back in Tallahassee making his first visit since the commitment. While he didn't participate in the camp this afternoon he wanted to come back and visit with the coaches again.

"It was a great visit today and I am really glad I went," said the 3-star quarterback. "Today I toured the campus and spent some time with the coaches at the camp. I saw the whole campus today, which was nice."

Jacob said he spent a lot of time with Coach Fisher. He told NoleDigest they talked a little about how he fits in the offense and about how the 2011 class is unfolding at this time.

"Pretty much we talked about how I fit into the offense," said Coker of his conversations with Fisher and the other coaches. "We also talked about the other recruits that have committed to FSU. It was all very positive. Everything is going well with our class. I am going to try to help recruit as much as I can. I saw some very impressive guys out there today."

With his commitment out of the way Coker is turning his attention to his senior season. "I came here today with my dad, and it was great," said Coker. "Now I am turning all of my attention to my senior season."

Coker hasn't scheduled an official visit to FSU yet.
