Chris Black on the Gators

One of the top playmakers in the class of 2012 is Jacksonville (FL) First Coast superstar Chris Black. Black, a 5-11, 180-pound wideout, is nearly impossible to contain in the open field showing a variety of moves including speed, cutting ability, vision and balance.

Chris Black is a truly gifted athlete that is one of most heavily recruited players in the state of Florida for next year's class.

"I grew up a Gator fan because of my dad but I just like the intensity and speed of the Gators. There just a different swagger about the Gators that stands out to me."

Black has offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and South Carolina at this time and has three at the top with Florida, Florida State and Clemson.

As the 2012 recruiting season moves forward, Black can expect to receive numerous verbal offers from some of the powerhouse programs around. Black visited Gainesville already once this year to take in a Gator game and the atmosphere of The Swamp and said he plans on trying to get back this weekend as the Gators host the Kentucky Wildcats.
