Debose Eager for More

It's no secret that true freshman Trey Burton was the offensive star for UF in the 48-14 beat down of the Wildcats in Gainesville. But, what about another weapon on offense? This is one we haven't seen before. Wide receiver Andre Debose had his first catches as a Gator and he said he will come back for more in next week's matchup with Alabama.

Coach Urban Meyer talked about Debose after the game and said he is finally going hard in practice so he earned his playing time on the field.

Andre Debose liked what he saw out there and talked about the crowd's reaction to his first catch. As he delves further into the playbook, Debose said he will continue learning and focusing on his game. This past week of practice, he said, was highlighted by fast, fluid running and coach Meyer "liked what he saw."

Andre Debose hasn't been able to produce for Florida since arriving on campus. He suffered a hamstring injury that required surgery and has struggled picking up Florida's offense and going full speed ahead all the time. Regardless, he adds an intriguing spark into Florida's offense and looks very natural fluid once he gets into a route.

Debose talked about getting on the field on a big stage for the first time, learning plays and the difficulty of sitting on the bench after being a starter for his whole life.
