Howard Likes Florida's Scheme

One of the top cover corners in the state of Florida for the 2012 class is Tracy Howard. Howard, a 6-0, 170-pound cornerback prospect from Miramar (FL) enjoyed what he saw in The Swamp on Saturday night.

"It went real good. Man, I loved the atmosphere," Tracy Howard said. "I got a lot of love from Florida, I love Florida they showed me a bunch of love."

One thing in particular stood out for Howard.

"Going into the locker room after the game and talking with the players was real cool. I think Florida has the best corner's in the Southeastern Conference and they have the best scheme I have seen. I love the scheme and A.J. and I did not want to leave, we love Florida and we talk a lot about playing together and stuff like that. We didn't think we would like it like that but we love Florida."

Howard made the trip with numerous top prospects for next year's class including A.J. Leggett and Ricardo Louis as well as current Gator commitment Ryan Shazier.

"It was crazy. I mean Ryan is real cool and laid back. He didn't even need to recruit or say anything to us because every time we turned around all he had to say was now you know why I am a Gator."

Howard spent some time with his recruiting coach Zach Azzanni.

"I got a chance to speak with Coach Z and he was telling me to keep working real hard and we talked about getting me back up there and continuing to build a relationship and stuff like that. Coach Z told me he was going to come at me real hard and stay on me. Florida showed me a ton of love more than Miami but I think Miami is still number one right now but Florida showed me so much more love than Miami."
