Brantley Ready to Get Back to Work

Florida quarterback John Brantley suffered his first loss as a starter as UF fell to Alabama 31-6 in week five. Still, Brantley said he feels this loss wasn't because of a lack of effort on the Gator side of the ball. He said they will get right back to work and said he knows there are many positives in this loss.

John Brantley also talked about being shaken up on the field after trying to run the ball for yardage and says he got hit in the ribs and couldn't breathe but is "fine."

Brantley had 16-for-31 and threw two interceptions on the night. He talked about those turnovers and said he just made "a bad throw." He also discussed his coaches' decision to send freshman quarterback Trey Burton out on the field in goal line situations. Brantley said he doesn't feel he should be out there instead of Burton as he trusts his coaches to make the right choices in game time situations.
