FG Rapid Recap - 10/4

Every team deals with a big loss in different ways. The Gators say they aren't getting discouraged after suffering a beat down at the hands of the Crimson Tide. Florida players and coaches met with media members Monday and discussed their strategy moving forward. The general consensus is this: let's move on and make sure we beat LSU in The Swamp.

Still, coach Urban Meyer is wary of talk without actions to back statements up. He said this week of practice will separate the men from the boys.

We heard from Meyer, John Brantley, Ahmad Black, Duke Lemmens, Carl Johnson, Mike Pouncey, Jeff Demps and Brandon Hicks. Meyer said the team "failed miserably" against Alabama and he was not happy with offensive production although he thinks the defense came away with an average performance. Brantley agrees but made the point that he feels his team really came together in the second half despite an eminent loss. Carl Johnson is hungry for more than hamburgers this week and said it is crucial to win every game from here on out.

Laura McKeeman and Cody Jones break it all down for you in this edition of the Rapid Recap.
