Pike Talks Gators

Zeke Pike, a 6-5, 230-pound former linebacker now signal caller, checks in from Ft. Mitchell (KY) Dixie Heights. Pike has offers from some of the top programs in America including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Wisconsin.

Zeke Pike could very well be the top ranked quarterback for the class of 2012 if he continues to progress.

Pike visited the University of Florida over the summer during Friday Night Lights and showed off his extremely strong arm and quick feet. Pike was very impressed with what the Gators have to offer and is building a good relationship with quarterback coach Scott Loeffler. Pike mentioned what he likes about the Gators.

"The winning tradition," Pike said. "The coaches and I love the program. They are the best of the best always playing for national championships. Throw in playing in The Swamp and what's better?"

Pike is the son of former Georgia Tech and Buffalo Bill Mark Pike.
