Heater Sticking with Hill

Florida safeties coach Chuck Heater spoke to the media after Wednesday's practice. He said he's seeing most of his guys bounce back well from two losses and he isn't worried about his older guys not working very hard for the remainder of the season. Heater talked about safety Ahmad Black and his dominant play against LSU.

Chuck Heater discussed Will Hill and said, right now, there isn't a plan to move Josh Evans in to replace Hill. Heater said they are still waiting on Hill to step up from what DC Teryl Austin called an "average" performance.

Heater has been around for a while. He has seen many ups and a few downs at this program and he isn't too bothered by two straight losses because Florida still controls it's destiny in the SEC East. Still, Heater is looking for more from his guys and he said he's seen improvement this week.

Also, he discussed freshman Matt Elam and his recovery from a concussion. Heater said Elam was held out of practice so far this week but was able to come out and watch Wednesday. He said he will have to wait to see what trainers say as to whether or not Elam will be able to play this weekend.
