Hunter Focused on Stopping Lattimore

Defensive tackle Omar Hunter is gearing up for South Carolina and feels he and his team will be ready to take on the Gamecocks. Hunter has 16 total tackles on the season and looks to continue to impress as Florida tries to get back to Atlanta.

Omar Hunter said the D-line is working on technique this week and he will particularly focus on staying low. Hunter discussed South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia and what he presents as a running threat. Hunter said it helps that they have already faced dual-threat signal callers this year.

Hunter went on to discuss another running threat. His name is Marcus Lattimore and he could be a huge spark in South Carolina's offense Saturday. Hunter said Lattimore is a powerful runner with a burst of speed that is hard to stop. Hunter admits that he could be easier to stop since he is a one-cut guy, but his speedy power is nothing to ignore and will have to be contained if Florida wants to make South Carolina struggle.
