Jenkins Ready for 'Tall' Challenge

Cornerback Janoris Jenkins isn't the tallest corner at 5-11, but he's been able to give some big SEC receivers trouble this season. Jenkins held Georgia's A.J. Green to just four catches for 42 yards. He held Alabama's Julio Jones to just four catches for 19 yards and now he faces South Carolina's Alshon Jeffrey.

Janoris Jenkins said he will use his quickness and physicality to combat Jeffrey's height. Jenkins said he feels he has done well in every game this season and expects to bring it on Saturday in The Swamp.

Jenkins went on to talk about playing bigger on the field. He said he tries to stay aggressive to make up for what he lacks in actual height. Jenkins also talked about being more consistent this season and said he is really trying to do whatever his coaches tell him to do to help the team and get better. When asked if his performance this season has him thinking about the NFL at all, Jenkins simply said, "no."
