Roberson Planning His Visits

St. Thomas Aquinas High School came away with the class 5A state championship after dominating Plant 29-7. Many prospects that will play Division I football played for both teams and showed why they are so highly recruited in 2011. One of these prospects is four-star cornerback Marcus Roberson.

Marcus Roberson has said Auburn is his leader for a while and he still maintains that the Tigers have the No. 1 spot. Roberson is, however, entertaining the idea of looking around at a few other schools.

Florida is a school he is continually interested in because they are close to home and he is also mentioning USC as a possibility because he is hearing more from USC coaches lately.

Roberson had two tackles, one pass breakup and an interception in the state championship victory. He said he is planning on visiting USC soon and also plans to take a visit to Florida and maybe some other schools.

Roberson still insists he will wait until the "process is over" to announce where he will attend college and is keeping a very open mind at the moment although Auburn does still lead.
