Gators Land Another All-American

The Florida Gators were looking for a way to start the day off right, and that happened at 9 a.m. when Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback Marcus Roberson decided he would be a Gator. The Under Armour All-American makes the 18th commitment for the Gators in the class of 2011.

The Florida Gators under Will Muschamp are looking to beef up their secondary and adding a prototype cornerback like the 6-0, 185-pounder with blazing speed is something that will put a smile on their faces as he has signed and faxed in his national letter of intent on Wednesday.

Marcus Roberson joins an all-star cast of cornerbacks to commit to Florida with Under Armour All-American Pop Saunders of DeLand, four-star Valdez Showers of Detroit (MI), and four-star Loucheiz Purifoy of Pensacola all signed and sealed for the Gators.

We will have more on Roberson as soon as we can get it.
